Research tells us that dogs help calm our emotions and provide companionship in stressful times. We like to call them "Battle Buddy". A "Battle Buddy" is that team member that is there for you when you need help with challenges. This program provides dogs, free of charge, to veterans who need a "Battle Buddy" to overcome individual challenges while adjusting to civilian life.
PAWS4BOOTS is focused on helping Veterans receive dogs that will help them with their unique circumstances and create some companionship to those who need that type of support.port.
